1. Introduce yourself briefly.
Hello, my name is Sjuzanna Erdmane, and I am thrilled to represent Latvia in the Miss Europe Continental beauty contest. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, I blend my analytical skills with a passion for continuous improvement. Outside of work, I find joy in dancing and practicing yoga, which help me maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I am also committed to engaging in projects that promote self-development and personal growth. Through this competition, I aim to highlight the importance of self-confidence, well-being, and lifelong learning. Thank you for this incredible opportunity to share my journey and inspire others.
2. When did you start your dancer career?
My journey with dance began in childhood when I participated in various dance clubs and explored different styles. However, it was only three years ago that I began pursuing dance more professionally. Dance has become a language through which I interact with the world, helping me express my femininity and build confidence. This transformative experience has been essential to my self-development.
3. Who inspired you in your life and career?
Most often, the people who inspire me in life and career are those who are close to me—family, friends, and colleagues. Specifically, it is the faith one person has in another and in their potential that becomes the key to success and progress. Their unwavering support and belief in my abilities have been a constant source of motivation, driving me to achieve my best both personally and professionally.
4. Tell us about your future projects.
Social Media Development:
I am planning to expand my social media presence as a petite model aged 35+. My goal is to become an influencer who inspires women my age and older to embrace life and their own beauty. Through this platform, I aim to show that beauty is ageless and confidence is timeless, encouraging others to live boldly and authentically.
Dance Industry Fund:
Recognizing the financial challenges within our dance industry, I am working on an idea to create a fund that would support Latvian dance schools in representing our country internationally. Although I don’t have the financial resources to fund this myself, I hope to bring together a community of supporters who can help make this vision a reality.
Improving Dance Studio Conditions:
I’m also passionate about improving conditions within dance studios, particularly in the halls and wardrobes, as I often encounter discomfort in these spaces. While I may not have the funds to contribute directly, I plan to raise awareness about this issue and seek the support of those who can help improve the environment for dancers.
5. What do you expect from Miss Europe Continental?
As this is my first experience participating in Miss Europe Continental, I don’t have specific expectations. However, I believe that new experiences and adventures often bring unexpected growth and insights. Participating in this event has been a childhood dream of mine, and I am certain it will give me some of the best emotions that I will cherish and share with the world. I look forward to learning, connecting with incredible individuals, and embracing every opportunity this journey offers. Ultimately, I hope this experience will enrich my life in ways I haven’t yet imagined
6. What is the quote you’ll never forget? Why?
I don’t always remember specific quotes off the top of my head, but there is one that truly resonates with my lifestyle: “The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.”
