My name is Jasmin Tamara Müller and I’m 20 years old. I work full-time as a nurse and part-time as a model and security.
I come from beautiful Bavaria in Germany. I’m very grateful that I have the chance to represent Germany at Miss Europe Continental and to show that young girls also have the chance to achieve a lot and live the life they dream of.
I’m passionate about traveling around the world, no matter which country, to discover the culture and the beautiful landscapes. I like to try new things and take on new challenges.I also have my own horse because I started show jumping as a small child. Dancing, singing and acting are also my hobbies.
When did you start your modeling career?
I have only been a model for a year and got into the business through an invitation to an event. I had to decline the first invitation because of my training as a nurse and thought I missed the chance. It would have been a shooting trip to Marakkesh. As if by a miracle, the photographers contacted me again for a Halloween event in Munich, which I luckily accepted.
You do a lot of shooting, what do you feel when you’re in front of the cameras?
At the beginning I felt very insecure because I’m very self-critical and I wanted the agencies to be happy with me in any case. But as I went to shoots more often, I felt more and more comfortable because the results were very good and I got very good feedback from the photographers and agencies.
In your opinion, what are the essential requirements to start a career as a photo model?
I think it’s essential to have an open, friendly personality because you often come into contact with a lot of people. Also that you take care of yourself and value your appearance and fitness.
What is the quote you’ll never forget? Why?
“Live like you’re going to die tomorrow. …”
It’s actually a very simple but, in my opinion, important quote. I think if you never take risks or do anything for yourself, at some point you will regret not doing some things.
What do you expect from Miss Europe Continental?
I want to prove to myself that I have what it takes to take part in a competition like this despite my young age and height. Of course, I also want to make my family and friends proud. I also want to inspire other young girls that they can achieve their dreams and goals, no matter what others say.
What advice would you give to other candidates?
All the candidates here are beautiful and were chosen because they have what it takes to win here. No matter who wins here, that person deserves it 100%.
Tell us about your future projects.
I want to start my modeling career so I can prove to myself and my family that I can do it. In addition, I plan to renovate a school in Gambia with my mother in order to give the children there a better life and to increase the chance of education. I came up with this idea when my mother was in this country with her boyfriend and he grew up there and told me what his childhood was like there.
