Hi beautiful people! My name is Milica Dervišević, I am a Doctor of Aesthetic Medicine. I have a PhD from Institute of Nuclear Sciences “Vinča” (SRB) and executive MBA degree from Washington (USA) School of Business and Technology. I am very passionate about beauty and education. My goal in life is to be extremely pretty while being disgustingly over-educated. As a Serbian health&glam diva I’m coming to Naples to shatter some beauty glass ceilings. My favorite quote is Andre Leon Talley’s “Beauty is health. Health is beauty”. No doubt about it, every lady in this pageant will be beautiful, but the one who stands out will actually be the healthiest one. Spiritual, mental and physical health radiates captivating beauty and wins the audience.
1. Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Europe Continental contest?
I chose to participate in this beauty pageant because I want to use my platform to advocate for important health issues like mental health, body positivity, and self-care. I believe in breaking down stigmas and helping people become mentally and spiritually healthier. Through sharing my knowledge about skincare, makeup, and overall health, I aim to inspire others to embrace their natural beauty and lead a healthier life. Let’s focus on being spiritually, mentally, and physically healthy, because outer beauty is superficial without the inner beauty. As a beauty queen, I hope to use my platform to challenge these damaging norms and promote a more positive and inclusive view of aging. I feel honored to represent Serbia in Miss Europe Continental contest, it’s an opportunity to share my passion for beauty with all of you.
2. How do your friends and relatives support you in this experience that you will do?
Surrounded by a tribe of love and support, I exude integrity in every step I take. This competition isn’t just a chance to showcase my true essence and values – it’s a mission everyone around me resonates with. A mission to empower women, shatter beauty standards, and promote diversity and inclusivity. Together, we reshape social expectations and uplift each other to create a thriving community. Let’s rewrite the story, with collaboration, support, and fierce determination. From languages to medicine and business, I have many talents and have become one of the brightest doctors in Serbia. Joining the MEC sisterhood is just the beginning – let’s create unforgettable memories together and continue to make education sexy. Bring it on!
3. How important do you think appearance is nowadays?
Appearance is very important because when we look in the mirror in the morning, we have to like what we see. Only then will we be able to face the world and perform our best, be the best mother, colleague, daughter and friend. In a society obsessed with youth and unrealistic beauty standards, I stand as a beauty queen determined to challenge harmful norms and promote self-acceptance and self-love. As an anti-aging doctor, I witness the damaging effects of society’s pressure on women to maintain a youthful appearance at all costs. True beauty comes from within, and I am dedicated to advocating for healthy aging practices and empowering individuals to embrace their authentic selves and find confidence in their own unique journey. Join me in celebrating strength, grace, and diversity, and show the world that true beauty knows no age.
4. What do you think is the best thing about being a woman?
Being a woman is like being a master of seduction and empowerment. As an anti-aging doctor and aesthetics lover, I know that the best thing about being a woman is the ability to fight stigmas, provide pleasure, and meet everyone’s needs. Women have the power to create fantasies and open doors that men can only dream of. I believe in harnessing the power of allure for good. So ladies, embrace your inner boss lady and beware of being anti-seductive. It’s about owning your power, being confident in your skin, and making the world a more pleasurable place for all. Let’s show the world what women are truly capable of!
5. What are the 3 adjectives that best describe you?
Fierce, witty, divine.
