Good morning people, today we can read the interview of our Anete for the magazine of Miss Europe Continental. Below her interview:
‘’Short introduction of yourself, what’s your name, which nation you represent
Hello! My name is Anete and I’m 24 years old. I will represent Latvia.
– Tell something about yourself, what you do in life, how you like to spend your free time, your best quality, your worst flaw.
I would describe myself as a very versatile and energetic person. I have a wide range of interests and I love to try new things. I’m a mom to my two-year-old daughter, and I am expecting my second child at the beginning of April. Currently I’m on maternity leave, but before that I worked as a data operator in a household goods store.
Before pregnancy, my free time activities were cardio training and car racing. I have been racing for six years and I would love to keep doing it for as long as possible. Currently, I act in a theatre, and sometimes I appear in commercials and music videos. I also participate as a model in photo projects.
My best quality I would say is my energy and drive, but a flaw of mine is that I can sometimes take on a bit too much at once, because I always want to do everything and explore every opportunity which can make it difficult to focus on just one thing and be 100% good at it.
– Who inspired you in your life / career?
My uncle is someone I truly admire – he is a successful businessman who built his career from the ground up at a very young age. His drive and achievements inspire me, and I’d love to follow in his footsteps.
– Is there in particular an event or something in your life that has marked you?
Yes, there is! In 2021 our national car racing competition created a racing class only for women. This class became popular from the very beginning, and I was the first woman who won this race.
– What is happiness for you?
For me, happiness is having your beloved family around you. No matter how difficult life gets, loved ones will always keep the light in the darkness. Of course, complete happiness would be to be free from worries and able to enjoy the present moment without any distractions, but if I have my family, happiness will be there.
– What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?
“Everything that happens, happens for a reason” – this has been proven many times in life, so occasionally I remind myself that, when things go wrong.
– How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?
I am incredibly excited and proud to be here at Miss Europe Continental. As a child, I watched Misses shows on TV and imagined myself there, and now it’s happening. I’m sure that this will be one of the highlights of my life.
– What does fashion represent for you?
For me, fashion means being yourself. How I dress is how I feel. When I am wearing simple clothes, I also feel simple. When I am wearing elegant clothes, I feel special and confident.
– How do you see yourself in ten years?
I am confident that in ten years I will have fulfilled most of my dreams and will be able to inspire others with it.
– If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could make one wish come true, it would be the ability to teleport. Very often I need to spend a lot of time driving (not talking about racing) to get from one place to another. If I could teleport, I would have a lot more time in my life.
