Artistic and Cultural Award to President Alberto Cerqua.

Fashion is just one of the many forms in which art expresses itself. President Alberto Cerqua received the artistic cultural award entitled L’abete si veste d’amore.

The award was given to the President as “an entrepreneur who has been involved in the diffusion of beauty in its various forms for years, founder of the Miss Europe Continental show, which has received approval from European nations. Always active and tireless creator of original ideas that attract the public of art and image”.

L’abete si veste d’amore is a cultural initiative conceived by Giovanna Santangelo, an Italian poet who together with Theo Di Giovanni, has tried to spread the feeling of poetry among young people.

The award was created for elementary, middle and high schools but later included adults who could participate “out of competition” that is, beyond the rankings. In fact, many of these have received Poetic applause. Journalists, translators, teachers, authors and entrepreneurs who gave the event an extra boost, the presidency wanted to award some certificates of merit.

The event has expanded internationally also receiving approval and tributes from England and Israel.

During the event, the ceremony of the annexation of Maddaloni, the city that hosted the event, to the Republic of Poets took place.

For this precious cultural initiative that enhances and encourages young and old to open up to art, special thanks go to Theo Bartolomeo Di Giovanni, poet, philosopher, who acted as mediator of the prize with England and Israel, and Giovanna Santangelo, founder of the prize, Italian poet and prominent figure in the Italian cultural scene.
