Hi! I’m Ilenia Blanco, 26 years old, and I work as a passionate marketing specialist. Though I was born in Italy, I’ve had the joy of growing up in beautiful Switzerland. My hobbies? Spending quality time with friends and family and exploring new places. I’m incredibly proud to represent Italy at Miss Europe Continental!

Optimistic, radiant, and loving.
Is there a quote that motivates you in the most difficult moments? Which one and why exactly that one?
– “You are stronger than you think, braver than you believe, and smarter than you know.” A.A. Milne –
I chose this quote because it serves as a powerful reminder of our inner strength and resilience. When faced with challenges, it helps me trust my abilities and push through moments of self-doubt. It encourages me to embrace my courage and intelligence, no matter how tough the situation may seem. It reminds me to never underestimate my potential!
When did your interest in modelling start? Have you always wanted to do this or is it a recently born passion?
Fashion has fascinated me from a young age, and it wasn’t just a passing interest – it felt like my true calling. My aunt had once dreamed of following this path, but circumstances didn’t allow her to continue. I wanted to carry on her dream forward. I started modelling with so much excitement, loving every moment of expressing myself through photography. But somewhere along the way, I allowed the will of others to guide my journey. I gave up – not because I wanted to, but because I listened to everyone else more than to my own heart. However, that passion never truly disappeared. I kept asking myself, “What if I had never stopped?” So, I made the decision to reclaim my dream, focusing on what truly makes me happy. This time, I’m doing it for myself, ready to see how far I can go.
How do you feel about the idea of participating in Miss Europe Continental?
Miss Europe Continental represents so much more to me than just a competition. It’s a powerful step in rediscovering and embracing my passion. After years of putting my dreams aside for others, this competition is a chance to do something that lights me up. It’s not only about personal growth but also about inspiring others and showing that we can always choose our own path. Every challenge in this competition will teach me something new, and I’m excited to embrace each lesson and grow stronger through it.
What advice would you give to other candidates?
I’d tell my fellow candidates to enjoy every moment of the journey – embrace every challenge, every lesson, and every high and low. Stay true to who you are, give your best effort, and, most importantly, enjoy the experience to the fullest. The journey itself is just as valuable as the outcome.
Tell us about your future projects.
Looking ahead, my focus is on living life to the fullest – enjoying every experience and continuing to grow. I’m excited to travel the world, connect with diverse cultures, and embrace new opportunities. Professionally, I aim to grow further in the marketing industry, developing my skills and expertise in this dynamic field. Who knows where this experience will take me, but I’m excited to see where it leads! The future is full of endless possibilities, and I can’t wait to explore them all.
