My name is Matyus Jacqueline and I feel deeply honored to represent my beautiful country, Romania, on a glamorous international stage. I am 21 years old and I currently live in Cluj-Napoca, but I travel very often out of desire to discover new cultures. I feel that my purpose is to be a voice for the voiceless, to fight for women’s rights, and to achieve absolute excellence in my law career. I’ve learned through my own experiences that there’s something very special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer. Furthermore, I aspire to make the world a better place and my job as a parliamentary consultant allows me to make my voice heard in the Romanian Parliament, fighting for citizens’ interests. Although my schedule is very busy, I am truly attentive to look impeccable every second.
– You certainly don’t miss femininity and you notice it immediately! But let’s debunk a commonplace and change the subject. What is your study path?
A woman who is both beautiful and intelligent is unstoppable. I aim my brain to be the most powerful weapon I possess. I chose to pursue two prestigious degrees simultaneously: one at the Faculty of Law and the other at the Faculty of European Studies (majoring in International Relations and European Studies). I aspire to add a touch of value to the law field through rigorous study. For me, the Faculty of Law is not just a simple faculty, but a passion. At the moment, I am exploring all aspects of law through various internships, but my heartfelt dream is to become a lawyer, so that I can seek justice in cases I strongly believe in.
Words may not be enough to describe you, everyone can see the girl you are. However, I would like to discover the Jacqueline that not everyone can know. How do you describe your character?
I am a complex woman, who enjoys being in a continuous evolution. I emphasize both mental and physical development and I work every day to become the best version of myself. As a strong woman, I truly believe that gifts, such as: critical thinking, determination and strength, are just as feminine as intuition and emotional intelligence.The traits that define me best are originality, creativity, elegance, and empathy. I stand out with my ability to find beauty in every situation and every person.
-From your social content, I perceive you have strong self-confidence. How important do you think this aspect is nowadays?
Confidence is not a luxury, but a necessity. A confident woman can change the world. I perceive myself as a confident woman, capable of turning the world upside down, and I have never been afraid to show my inner magnetism to the world.Having strong confidence in life is paramount because it allows us to believe in ourselves and our abilities. When we have confidence, we are more willing to take risks , try new experiences, and pursue our goals and dreams . Like Michelle Obama once said, “There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.” Strong self-cofidence also helps us handle challenges and setbacks with resilience , as we trust in our ability to overcome them. Additionally, confidence can positively impact our relationships and interactions with others, as it allows us to communicate effectively and set our boundaries .
Why did you decide to participate in Miss Europe Continental? What do you expect from our beauty pageant? Is this your first experience in the world of fashion?
I have always been passionate about beauty, fashion, and self-expression. I also have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the world and use my platform to raise awareness for important causes. This beauty peageant provides me a unique opportunity to combine many of my interests and use my voice for the better. Also, I am very keen on forming beautiful connections with the other powerful women. Plus, I look forward to the personal growth and self confidence that come along with joining this contest.Ultimately, I see it as a way to challenge myself, push my boundaries, and become the best version I can be. Participating in Miss Europe Continental is not only a sign of recognition for me, but also a big opportunity to inspire others. Although this is not my first contact with fashion world, it is a great honor to be part of such a glamorous project. I am immensely grateful for the chance to represent my country on a global platform.
