Today we meet our finalist Veronika, who will represent Switzerland in the next edition of Miss Europe Continental! It’s time to have a look at her story and her personality.
“Hello everyone!
My name is Veronika Stepanenko and I will represent Switzerland in Miss Europe Continental 2025. I’m almost 24 years old and I was born in Ukraine. Right now I’m living in the beautiful French-speaking city in Switzerland in Lausanne. I’m a tourism agent and photo model, and I adore my life and everything I do. I also love ballroom dancing and I’ve been doing it for over 8 years.
• What do you expect from the Miss Europe Continental?
First and foremost, this is a great opportunity for me to showcase myself and grow in the field of modeling. I am excited to meet wonderful, talented and interesting people who can inspire me to take great new steps forward. I want to show myself, to live every moment with a smile, no matter how difficult it is. I want everyone to see not only my outer beauty, but also my inner world and my kind heart.
• What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are very simple – to have a beautiful big family and to become successful. The most important thing in life is to do what you love and to know that you bring value to our world, as well as to have wonderful people by your side, with whom you will go forward without looking back and without stopping.
• Is there a moment in your life that has particularly marked you?
Most likely, it was a move to Switzerland. I came here alone, with no language skills, to a completely foreign country and culture. I wanted to drop everything and go back home. But I’m a person who doesn’t like to give up halfway, so I proudly got through the hard moments and kept moving in the right direction. After all, we can do anything we want.
• What advice would you like to share with other participants?
I want to advise each participant – to carry the sun within you, because that’s how we can give happiness to each other in such a big world. No matter how difficult – smile and look forward with your head proudly up!”
