1. You are on the official team of Fashion Designers of Miss Europe Continental Edition 12. How does it feel to be part of such a dynamic and established international team?
As a Costa Rican fashion designer I feel honored and very privileged to represent my country with my designs to be part of the official team of Fashion Designers of Miss Europe Continental.
2. Tell us about your Creativity and Passion:
a. What do you draw the most inspiration for your creations from?
As a fashion designer, I always seek to show an emerging approach give rise to a seasonless fashion, maintaining its design, functionality, versatility and high quality materials following the Slow Fashion philosophy. With an everlasting mix of volumes, textures and colors, it represents: elegance, fairness and practicality.
b. How would you describe the woman you draw for?
The Ivonne Garita woman seeks to reflect their originality and identity, by obtaining exclusive garments with unique designs, which generates pleasure and self-confidence in themselves.
3. Tell us about your future plans.
One of my dreams is to have more exposure in more countries, participating in more fashion weeks around the world and accepting the opportunities that life gives, putting my country up high.
4. What advice would you give to an aspiring fashion designer who dreams of pursuing this career?
The best advice I can give to an aspiring fashion designer who dreams of pursuing this career is that, this career is not easy, no matter what, never give up and follow your instincts. Dream big and work for your dreams.
5. What do you expect from this experience at Miss Europe Continental?
Knowing that the european market is very broad and knowledgeable about good design, and that Italy is one of the fashion capitals, I expect that this experience at Miss Europe Continental is a step for the development and exposure of Ivonne Garita and a door to new oportunities.
